We often have newly built instruments available in our shop [link coming soon]. If you don’t see the option that’s right for you, we’re happy to work with you to create a custom build. In our initial consultation, we’ll talk through materials, size, and your preferences as a musician. For example, you may prefer an oud with a thicker or thinner neck or a certain range of action — these are the kinds of adjustments we can make. You’ll also be able to choose from an array of materials and colors for elements like the body staves and pick guard, as well as establish the level of decorative work.

We’ll schedule an initial 30-minute consultation, during which you’ll have the chance to share more info with us about your preferences. We’ll also share our welcome packet and agreement, which goes over the process and payment. After that, we’ll get to work! Our current custom build times average around six months.
